As a multimedia producer for GSR, Sharon is an integral editorial team member responsible for ensuring that GSR's audio and video content meets the highest standards for its global clients and audiences. Sharon is an editor and producer on GSR's top-charting foreign policy podcast, One Decision. Her previous work has been featured on Bloomberg, NPR, CNN Espanol, and PRX. Sharon has reported in English and Spanish, covering diverse topics, from crypto caves in Argentina to the experiences of Ukrainian refugees in Washington. Her audio journalism career flourished as a student reporting the advent of COVID-19 and its lasting impacts on American society. She later produced a four-part series that explored the transformation of education, mental health, gender inequality, and public health in the aftermath of the global pandemic. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, where she studied politics, political economy, and art history. During her academic tenure, her studies focused on the intersection of modern feminism and contemporary Middle Eastern society, exploring the role of ethnic culture in Israel, Spain, and Italy. Sharon is an avid reader— her literature reviews have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, Asymptote Journal, On the Seawall, and more.
