Global Situation Room hires Kat Maramba as VP of media engagement. Maramba was most recently executive communications manager at the National League of Cities. Before that, she was an account manager at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis and a communications strategist at Seven Letter. In her new position, Maramba will lead strategic media communications for clients in sectors including healthcare, tech and financial inclusion. GSR, a fully integrated partner of Porter Novelli, has recently opened a new headquarters space in Alexandria, VA.
