Global Situation Room Launches Press Advance with Johanna Maska Podcast from Situation Room Studios
The Global Situation Room, Inc. (GSR) today released the first four episodes of Press Advance with Johanna Maska, its new series from its banner podcast division, Situation Room Studios. The first season of the podcast takes a deep dive into the field of potential Republican 2024 presidential hopefuls during the biggest primary week to date as Sen. Tim Scott (R - S.C.) announced his candidacy on Monday and an announcement from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is expected later this week.
“So many are tired of a media environment that divides. What we strive to do with Press Advance is the opposite, bring people together with facts, humor and grace, in a way that respects the audience and lets them decide what they think with the information they deserve,” said GSR CEO Johanna Maska. “With Press Advance we'll be candid, and forthright with the problems we face and the solutions we can drive forward.”
The podcast takes a fresh look at how we make political progress in today’s polarized environment. Maska who was announced as a contributor to America’s fastest-growing cable news network, NewsNation, earlier this year, served in President Obama's administration as Director of Press Advance. Maska played a critical role in Obama’s first campaign and his first six years in office, overseeing the President’s image, traveling with him to almost every state, and to more than 40 countries.
